Several dead elk reported west of the Pass
Posted on November 15th, 2011 by Paula
In the last month, we’ve received several reports of elk killed by vehicles along I-90, on the west side of Snoqualmie Pass. And it’s not too late to encounter bears on the road either. In early November, a traveler observed a black bear standing on a cement barrier near Denny Creek before it ran across I-90 (and apparently survived). Please drive carefully!
